My story

Hi, I’m Riesling! I’m a bit of a couch potato who loves a quiet atmosphere and low activity. When I meet new people, I can be a little shy and take my time to warm up, but once I do, I’ll want to be by your side all the time. I adore taking naps beside you or even on you!I’m currently living with three senior dogs, and I prefer to give them space. I’m not aggressive at all; I just like to keep my distance until I feel comfortable. I enjoy pets on my own terms, so if I’m feeling cozy, I’ll let you know!I’m still building my confidence, but I’m incredibly sweet and lovable. When I explore the yard, I’ll often look back to check that you’re still there—it melts my heart to know you’re with me. I’ve been doing great with my potty habits, too!My perfect family would provide a calm environment and be patient as I learn to trust. I promise to be a loyal companion who loves unconditionally.
