Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue QUIET AND LOVING Meow! I’m Susie. My estimated birthday is April 6, 2025. I am a delicate little lady with sleek legs that shimmer like a tiny fox’s and a petite, graceful face that captures hearts at first glance. I began life under the most challenging circumstances—huddled beneath a grill alongside my brother Chuckie, braving chilly nights and relentless rain. Yet, through it all, my spirit remains soft, my heart open, and my soul filled with hope. At first, I might be a whisper of a shadow, shy and reserved, but give me a gentle scratch before my tail, and I’ll instantly unfold into pure delight—rolling over with trust and inviting your hands to stay. My play is tender and sweet; I approach every toy with careful curiosity, never quick to bite or scratch, preferring instead the innocent joy of chasing my favorite mouse on a string with the grace of a tiny huntress. I’m a natural companion, thriving in the company of other cats and showing kindness that makes me a perfect candidate for a family with gentle children. Though I’d treasure the chance to be adopted alongside one of my siblings for endless play and comfort, what I truly seek is a patient, loving human ready to embrace my quiet devotion. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
