Sam

My story

Location: DE Sam is a small male cattle dog mix. He weighs 32 lbs and is about two years old (born 6/39/23). He is very social with people and dogs. He is crated when unsupervised and is not a big barker. He walks great on leash and is not overly affectionate. His confidence has grown in his first couple weeks in foster care. He is medium energy and does initiate play with our older dogs. He is in a foster home with multiple resident dogs. He would thrive in a home with an active family and fenced yard. Working now on basic commands. He is not a counter surfer but may chew electrical wires or tv remote if given a chance. He has good manners and is a sweet boy and enjoys playing with toys and balls.  He is current on all vaccinations, flea and tick and Heartworm preventatives and is neutered and microchipped. He loves spending time in the yard in nice weather. We typically give dogs full access to fenced yard in nice weather.  Sam is being fostered in Wilmington, Delaware.
