My story

Hi, I’m Ace — your future best friend, cuddle buddy, and loyal shadow.I’ve been with my person since I was one year old, so I’ve known love and stability, and now I’m hoping to find that again. I’m super chill for my breed — more of a cuddle potato than a wild child. I love to be close to my people, and if you’re sitting down, I’ll be right there with you. I’m sweet, gentle, and really just want to be part of the family.I’m great with kids and new people, and while I get a little excited on walks or when I spot a squirrel, I settle down quickly. I know basic commands like sit and lie down, and I’ll come when you call. Even when I’ve had access to an open yard, I never ran off — I like sticking close.I do have some allergies that need managing, and I’m allergic to cats, so a feline-free home is best for me. I’ve been improving with treatment, and I’d thrive with a family who can give me the care and love I deserve. I get along well with other dogs my size or bigger, though I might bark a bit when I first meet them.If you’re looking for a calm, loving, loyal companion who will always be happy to see you, I think we’d be perfect together. I can’t wait to meet you.Adoption fee: $50Ace is part of our Home to Home Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee. Please fill out an adoption application at https://pawmettolifeline.org/adoption/adoptionapplication/ or contact adoption@pawmettolifeline.org if you would like to meet this animal.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ace, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
