My story

**Note: Meonggoon is currently in Korea but will fly to his destination upon adoption. Meonggoon has a flight to LA on August 12. Background Meonggoon was rescued this past spring from a city pound in Milyang, Korea, as part of our “Save 100 Dogs” campaign. Before rescue, he knew only isolation and uncertainty. But everything changed when he was brought into safety. Since then, Meonggoon has been discovering what it means to be cared for, to feel safe, and to be part of a family—both human and canine. He currently lives peacefully with other dogs and has found comfort in their companionship. Personality & Socialization Meonggoon is a gentle, quiet and sweet boy with a soft, calm spirit. He has a medium energy level and gets along beautifully with other dogs. A home with another friendly pup would be ideal for him—he loves to play, cuddle, and follow the lead of his furry friends. He can be a bit nervous in the new environemnt, but with a little patience and kindness, he warms up and reveals his true self: sweet, quiet, and full of love. Meonggoon is very gentle and good with people. He’s been easy-going and responsive, often following the shelter staff and volunteers with gentle curiosity. Behaviour Meonggoon is well-mannered and polite. He’s a little unsure of car rides, grooming, or bath time, but he always tries his best and allows his humans to care for him gently. He’s still learning about the world on a leash, but once he trusts the person beside him, he enjoys his walks. Health & Diet Meonggoon is in great health. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and receives regular parasite prevention. He eats dry kibble and has no known allergies or dietary restrictions. Ideal Home Meonggoon would do best in a quiet home with another friendly dog to help him feel confident and secure. A family that works from home or has someone around most of the time would be ideal. He’s not just adorable—he’s a kind soul looking for someone to give him the love he’s been waiting for.
