My story

Born to be loved, hugged, and cherished. There is no shortage of sweetness when it comes to these little 3-month-old mixed breed cuties. They are sure to be everything their forever family is looking for. A little bit of curiosity, fun and adventure is a day in the life of Zola. She is starting off small of around 28 pounds but looking into the future, this girl will certainly get bigger. Where she stops is certainly a guess and our best estimate is that she will be a large dog of somewhere over 60 pounds when she is fully grown. She has a big heart and a big personality already so there is no guesswork there. Navigating through life has its challenges but if you have friends along the way, it makes life interesting. Zola is a big fan of meeting and spending time with other dogs, children, and cats. Frequent interactions with friends are a big part of what Zola envisions for herself. Play and exploration are taken to the next level when she has a friend along with her. A day full of play, exploration and socializations are just what Zola is looking for. There is sure to be adventures around every corner and Zola will be first in line.Zola is learning about the expectations of house, crate, and leash skills. She is onboard at being a professional at each one and is willing to put in hard work and commitment to make her family proud of him.Every journey starts with a single step. When it comes to emotions, you do not always get a choice, and love can come crashing in to break down barriers. Excitement will mount and you will be overjoyed to have Zola as your next family member. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Zola is $600. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today.A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.July 30, 2025, 6:57 am

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Zola, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
