My story

Available for Pre-Adoption Only - Will be available for Adoption after mid-August, after he is neutered. America is a gentle, wide-eyed sweetheart with a sleek black coat and the most soulful gaze you’ve ever seen. He’s a calm, curious kitten who enjoys being held, petted, and quietly watching the world around him. With his relaxed and affectionate personality, America is the perfect snuggle buddy for someone looking for a soft and loving companion. America’s story began in a heartbreaking place, in a trash can at a local school. A custodian heard cries coming from inside and was shocked to find a grey tortie mother cat nursing four tiny kittens amidst the garbage. Thankfully, they were rescued and brought into our care right away. America is especially close with his brother Valor, a playful orange tabby, and the two are currently thriving together in foster care. They wrestle, nap, and explore side by side, and we would love for them to be adopted together so they can grow up with the comfort of their sibling bond. If you’re looking for a sweet, calm kitten who will fill your home with warmth and possibly bring his more playful brother along for double the joy, America is ready to steal your heart.
