My story

Juliet is a sweet, soft-natured kitty who has the kind of presence that instantly brings calm to a room. With her mellow temperament and deep, trusting eyes, she’s the kind of cat who will quietly curl up next to you and make you feel like everything is right in the world. Her favorite things in life are simple: sunny windowsills, cozy blankets, and watching the days come and go. Juliet roams our lobby with the other cats, but isn't interested in playing and can be overwhelmed by them easily. We think she would match best with someone that has either no other cats or a very low-key friend that will offer her space. Juliet has a heart condition that limits her activity and may shorten her lifespan, but she doesn’t let it dim her spirit. She moves through the world at her own pace, savoring the comfort of a peaceful environment and the love of a kind hand. While she doesn’t need much in the way of excitement, she needs someone who sees the beauty in her quiet nature and is willing to give her the comfort and companionship she so deserves. We know Juliet’s time may be limited, but we also know that time is precious—and we’d love for her to spend hers in a home filled with love, warmth, and gentle care. If you have a calm household and an open heart, Juliet could be the perfect addition to your life. She’s not just looking for a home—she’s looking for someone to share her heart with. Juliet is approximately 2 years old and weighs 10 pounds. All cats/kittens will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated according to age, dewormed, FIV/FeLV tested negative, and current on flea/tick prevention before adoption unless otherwise noted for age or health reasons. Please note: our kitties have been indoors-only and not accustomed to life outside and the dangers involved (cats are easy targets for predators). If you're looking for an outdoor-only cat (aka barn cat), please check out the barn cats with our friends at Tuolumne County Animal Control. Interested in adopting or fostering?
