My story

Gelato is sweet, sweet, sweet just like his name. He watches his brothers closely and will pounce when the moment is right. He is such an observant boy. He loves a good snuggle with his brothers in a cuddle puddle but will snuggle with the humans in his life, too!  He is a great eater, uses the litter box like a pro, and loves the scratching pad and post that are available to him. When he’s ready to play, watch out!  This boy can run to swat at a ball and will carry it around in his mouth. Gelato wears a yellow collar and doesn’t let it get his way. He does well with cats and doesn’t let the family dog excite him too much!  Great with kids and will be a fun addition to any home!  Take him home with one or two of his brothers and watch them play so well together. You’ll be so happy you did! Requires another cat in the home: Yes, kittens always do better with a friend! It is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $150 (or $250 for two) which covers age appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, FIV/FeLV testing, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures. We are 100% volunteer staffed and will respond to your email as soon as possible. After you have submitted an application and been approved, we will set up a meet and greet between you and the kitten/cat. Meet and greets are held virtually via Zoom and we offer a trial period to ensure your cat/kitten is a match.
