Meet Jax ! Your New Best Friend in the Making! At just 6 months old, Jax is already proving to be the kind of pup who steals hearts without even trying. This handsome terrier mix was found wandering the streets of Gulfport and brought into the care of HSSM on July 20th, 2025. Though his journey started out a little uncertain, Jax is ready to turn the page and find the loving forever home he truly deserves. Jax has a gentle soul with a touch of shyness, but don’t let that fool you! Once he knows you, he absolutely blossoms. He thrives in the company of people and other dogs, and his sweet, social nature makes him the perfect sidekick for all of life’s adventures. Looking for a walking buddy? Jax is your guy! He walks like a dream on a leash and brings a quiet excitement to every new place he explores. Whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or a weekend hike, Jax is eager to be right by your side. Jax is heartworm negative, up to date on all his vaccines, and will be neutered upon adoption (if not already). All that’s missing is a family to call his own. So, what do you say?
