My story

Ain’t nature grand? Here we have Maddox, a handsome Labrador with a salt-and-pepper schnoz, who’s a true exemplar of his breed. Loyal, patient, strong and silly, he’s peppy for his age, a gentleman with dogs and people, and soaks up knowledge like a sponge. Yet one of his more endearing traits – a short set of study legs -- is a mysterious gift from another breed. It’s a master touch that makes Maddox evermore himself: A sweet guy with a serious expression who can and will get down from the couch by himself if you ask. In the market for a custom Lab with all the trimmings? Meet Maddox today. Here's some notes from his foster: Maddox rides very well in a car and is leashed trained. He loves going for walks and gets excited whenever I have the leash in my hand. He does well with stairs for the most part, but I have seen him have some issues with the last few steps on a flight of stairs. He is able to get up and down from the couch just fine. He is not able to jump up on my bed that is about 31 inches high and I have had to help him get up onto it. He also appears to be house trained! Maddox is the ultimate cuddle bug. He loves to lie next to you on the couch with his head in your lab. He also prefers to sleep in bed with you instead of in his dog bed. He loves getting his belly rubbed. He gets along well with other dogs (mine are small). He seems to be the one to engage first in playing with them. He is a fan of dog treats and quickly learned where the treat cabinet is in my house. Maddox will make the ultimate pet companion!
