My story

Luna is a graceful young cat with sleek black and white fur and enchanting yellow-green eyes that catch the light just right. At only a year old, she’s already experienced the harsh realities of outdoor life, but her story took a turn toward safety and hope thanks to a watchful neighbor and a second chance. Luna was rescued off the streets of Anaheim after a concerned neighbor spotted a pack of coyotes swarming her and a small cat family on their security cameras. Horrified by the footage, the neighbor contacted our rescue immediately. We arrived the next day and safely trapped Luna, along with a mom cat and several young kittens. Fortunately, Luna and the others had been fed regularly by the kind neighbor, so they trusted people enough to allow us to help. Now safe in foster care, Luna is adjusting to indoor life. She’s still shy and learning to trust, but with the right person who can be patient and gentle with her, Luna has every potential to thrive. She doesn’t seek attention just yet, but she’s quiet, kind, and deeply deserving of a calm home where she can continue her journey. Luna would do especially well in a home with a friendly outgoing cat, or with Midnight who is her current foster companion from the same cat colony. If you're willing to give her time and space to blossom, Luna could become a beautiful, peaceful presence in your home.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Luna II, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
