Midnight

My story

Midnight is true black beauty, with stunning soft, silky fur and mesmerizing light green eyes that seem to glow with quiet wisdom. At just a year and a half old, she’s already endured more than most yet she remains gentle, resilient, and full of promise. Midnight’s story is one of survival and strength. She was living on the streets of Anaheim with her kittens when a concerned neighbor saw something terrifying on their security cameras: a pack of coyotes surrounding Midnight and her babies. Thankfully, most of the cats escaped unharmed, and the neighbor knew help was urgently needed. They reached out to our rescue, and we rushed out the next day. Because Midnight and her kittens had been consistently fed by people, they already associated humans with food and safety. Midnight walked into the trap without hesitation, and her kittens followed shortly after. All were safely brought indoors and all her kittens have been placed into their forever homes. Now in foster care, Midnight is safe, but she’s still learning to trust. She’s shy and cautious, but with the right adopter who is willing to give her time, patience, and love, we believe she’ll blossom into a calm and content house cat. She does well with other cats and especially enjoys the company of Luna II, her current foster friend that is also from the same cat colony. Midnight would thrive in a peaceful home where she can decompress, feel secure, and slowly open her heart to a loving companion.
