My story

Howdy! I’m Mars, an adorable and curious tri-pod puppy looking for my furever home. As you can tell from my photo, I have puppy eyes that always say "I'm innocent!" I love to play hard and nap hard on repeat. Who doesn’t? My caregivers do not know much about my past, because I was found wandering with my siblings. I’m just a baby, so be patient with me as I learn to potty outside and other basic skills that you will teach me. I’m eager to learn! I have my whole life ahead of me so think of me as your best friend for years and years to come! Contact my foster at (505) 697-0003 to meet me!! Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5 each. The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!
