My story

Meet Knox/Rebel!!!Knox, also known as Rebel, is a friendly and well-mannered 4-year-old hound mix who was recently owner-released and is now looking for his forever home. He gets along well with other dogs and would be a great match for families with children over the age of five. Knox/Rebel is especially gentle with the elderly, walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car, and is fully house trained. While we’re not sure if he’s crate trained, his calm nature and good manners make him a wonderful companion. However, he would do best in a cat-free home, as he does not get along with feline friends. He is HEART WORM NEGATIVE, UP TO DATE on vaccinations, and weigh 58 pounds.Knox/Rebel's Adoption Fee is $77.50 plus taxDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
