My story

Meet Stella & Scout! These two precious pups were saved just in time—rescued with their mama and siblings from a high-risk shelter situation. And thank goodness, because they are absolute gems!At 9 weeks old and weighing between 6–8 pounds, these sisters are sweet, playful, and full of personality. Their mama is a beautiful gray pittie mix (pictured and will be available for adoption once she is spayed!), and based on their looks, we suspect dad may have been a German Shepherd. Because of their breed mix, Stella and Scout are expected to be larger dogs—likely over 50 pounds full grown—and will have higher energy levels, so they’ll thrive with active families who can give them plenty of exercise, playtime, and continued training. Stella is the bigger of the two, with beautiful brown markings on her face and a Shepherd-like look. She’s full of energy, loves to be held, and has a sweet, slightly shy side. Stella is great with other dogs, super curious about cats, and always up for a game of chase with a tennis ball. She’s doing great in her crate, still learning the leash, and loves mealtime! Scout is a little smaller, mostly black, and absolutely adorable. She’s smart, independent, and curious about everything. Scout loves to play, gets along great with other dogs, and is just as curious about cats as her sister. She’s full of puppy energy, crate trained, and working on her leash skills—and yes, she’s a big fan of food too!Both girls are loving, curious, and ready to bring joy and fun to their forever families.
