My story

This gentle and calm guy is sweet and likes cuddles and chin scratches. He came to us extemely matted and had to be shaved, and is now growing a gorgeous coat of fur. He is a little timid at first, but friendly and likes lick treats and playing with his toys. He enjoys cuddles and being brushed, watching birds on Kitty TV, and settling down for a nap in a sunny window. He is neutered, up to date with vaccines, flea treated, dewormed and FIV/Felv negative. He is declawed on all 4 feet, so will need to be strictly indoors as he has no way to protect himself. He would like a quiet home with older children, and has never met a dog, so it is unclear how he would react. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes by respecting these guidelines!
