My story

My Foster Parents Says this About Me:Meet Palmer!`Palmer`s favorite activities include = disassembling toys, rearranging laundry piles, and caching cherished items in her cozy crate.Palmer is known to play nicely with other dogs- both active and easygoing- and has done well with cats! She especially loves playing `tag` and `tug`. She would enjoy playful housemates who can keep her entertained (and out of mischief)!Palmer came to RASKC as a stray so not much is known about her history. She is a spayed female Australian shepherd, medium-sized at 45-50 lbs, and her age is estimated about 5 years old.Palmer had a hard time in the shelter when she first arrived, feeling very shut down, so the team at RASKC found her a foster home. Since going to foster, she has blossomed up to an active, bouncy, playful pup! She still has her nervous, shy moments, but is much more confident than when she first arrived.` Since small children can be weird and scary, Palmer has requested a more `mature` home. Adults and older children (13 and up) who can appreciate her need for space may make for better matches.Palmer doesn`t know any tricks yet but we thinks trick training (and maybe some agility?!) could be really good for her self confidence. She`s still learning about the world around her and would benefit from a patient guide willing to help.Reach out to learn more about Palmer today!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt PALMER, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
