My story

Meet Jalapeño – Slightly Spicy, Extra Fluffy, and Full of Slow-Burn Charm Despite his fiery name, Jalapeño is more of a gentle simmer than a hot sauce explosion. This slightly fluffy orange tabby might look bold, but he’s a soft-spoken guy who’s still learning that the indoor life comes with comfy beds, kind humans, and toys that don’t bite back. Much like his brother Poblano, Jalapeño is on the shy side—he might hiss if he’s feeling nervous, and he’s got a black belt in strategic hiding. But don’t mistake caution for crankiness—he’s never mean, just working through his "new to the world" feelings at his own pace. With time, patience, and the right feline role model, we know he’ll bloom into a sweet and loyal companion. He must be adopted with another cat friend (maybe a sibling, maybe your resident feline ambassador) because bravery is always easier with backup.
