My story

Current Location: Ijamsville, MD Meet Charleston! Charleston is a joyful 4-month-old puppy who brings a big dose of sunshine wherever he goes. With his constantly wagging tail, giant paws, and adorable wrinkled forehead, this sweet boy is a head-turner and a heart-stealer. Energy and Personality: Charleston is a goofy, playful pup who thinks life is one big adventure. He’s happiest when chasing his toys - or his shadow - and his silly antics are guaranteed to make you smile. Despite his young age, he’s surprisingly gentle and well-mannered, with a sweet, affectionate nature. Training and Behavior: Charleston is well on his way to being housetrained. He is working on his house training and seems to be getting it almost all the time. He is eager to learn. He’s already great in his crate, both overnight and for daytime naps. With continued consistency and encouragement, he’ll be fully housetrained in no time. Social Life: This friendly guy loves people and gets along well with other dogs. He’s easy to handle and enjoys meeting new friends - both human and canine. Charleston would do well in a home with another playful dog or as your one-and-only snuggle buddy. Quirks and Special Traits: He’s long-legged, floppy-eared, and full of charm. His expressive face and playful personality make him feel like a cartoon character brought to life. Best Home Fit: Charleston would thrive in a home where someone is around often to continue his training and provide lots of playtime and cuddles. He’s an ideal companion for an active individual, couple, or family ready to invest in a puppy who’s already off to a great start. Veterinary Care: Health certificate from recent vet visit Up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations Neutered Microchipped On heartworm prevention Flea and tick prevention Dewormed

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Charleston, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
