My story

Meet Lizzy, a three year old Pit/Retriever mix weighing 75 pounds.Lizzy was found wandering and brought to a vet clinic, clearly missing her people and unsure of shelter life. She’s a bit confused right now, but her sweet and gentle nature still shines through. This chunky girl is well-mannered, walks nicely on a leash, and just wants the comfort of a stable, loving home. Lizzy will likely form a strong bond with her person and be a loyal companion once she feels safe and secure again. This pet is available for adoption on 7/25/2025 at 3:04 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
