My story

Iris is at our Everyday Adoption Center (1101 S Canal St). You can visit our Everyday Adoption Center at any time during open hours, no appointment needed. Fill out our quick adoption survey on our website before visiting to streamline the process Iris is: Spayed: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized More about Iris: Housebroken: Yes, when on a consistent routine, going out every 4-5 hours Crate trained: Doing well, after taking 10-15 minutes to settle initially Leash walking: Doing well in quieter areas, but can be nervous in busier areas Dog social: She has seemed friendly with other dogs at our Everyday Adoption Center, but has been nervous around dogs when outside on walks Cat social: Unknown Kid friendly: Unknown, but likely not a match for young kids due to her sensitivity to loud noises and sudden movements Iris likes: - Relaxing with a Lickimat, bone, or stuffed toy - Going for car rides, or walks in peaceful spots - Chilling with her person! Iris is a sweet and loving girl who may take some time to warm up, but once she trusts you she is a completely different dog and truly lets her silly personality come out. She loves getting scritches from her people, going on walks, chewing on a bone, and relaxing on a cozy bed. She would love a patient adopter who can give her a little time and space as she adjusts to the newness around her! Iris's adoption fee is $300, and she is ready to make you her new BFF!
