Hi, I’m George – Your Future Snuggle Buddy & Lamb Chop EnthusiastPurrs and head boops, friends! I’m George, a young orange tabby with a heart as golden as my fur. I may be deaf, but that just means I never miss a beat when it comes to napping, cuddling, or tracking the smell of wet food from across the room.I’ve got something called cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which makes me a little wobbly—mostly in my back legs. When I get REALLY excited (like when the food comes out or my best foster sister Kitty shows up), my whole body joins the wobble party. It’s part of my charm! When I first got here, I wasn’t feeling too hot. Some infection had me down, my energy was low, and my back legs just weren’t working right. But I’m a fighter! Thanks to good medicine and TLC, I’m now zooming around (well, in my own special style) and getting into just enough mischief to keep life interesting.Hobbies: • Cuddling my beloved Lamb Chop stuffie (non-negotiable) • Giving gentle boops to my foster German Shepherd friend, Stella (yes, a BIG dog—I’m brave like that!) • Purring like a motorboat the second I’m in your arms • Playing with toys and launching myself into fun • Periodically borrowing the one brain cell that all orange cats share (and I use it wisely… most of the time) • Chatting! I’m very vocal and let you know exactly when I need something — with gusto.Special notes: • I’m still perfecting my litter box game. Now that my back legs are working again, I’m learning to take myself there. Right now, I do best if you pop me in after meals. • I’d love a family who will cheer me on as I keep building my strength and balance. • I’m bonded to Lamb Chop, so we come as a package deal!Tips for Living with a Deaf Kitty Like Me: • Use gentle touches or floor vibrations to get my attention. • Flash the lights or wave when you come in so I don’t get startled. • I watch your face and body language more than most cats — we’ll have our own silent language in no time! • Playtime, cuddles, and routines help me feel safe and happy. If you’re looking for a kitten who’s all heart, a little silly, and full of love, I’m your guy. I promise to make you smile every single day.Love,George Don’t worry—CH isn’t painful or contagious, and I’m not sick! I can live a happy, full life, and over time I’ll learn to adapt to my unique way of moving. I just need to stay indoors where I
