Meet Braden!This 1-year-old, 13-pound cutie looks like a wire-haired dachshund mix—and he’s just as charming as he is scruffy!Braden recently went in for his neuter and won hearts with his sweet, affectionate nature. He gave the biggest hugs around the neck and was incredibly well-mannered—no leg lifting or marking like some boys his age. He’s still learning about the world and isn’t quite comfortable on a leash yet, and car rides aren’t his favorite… but he’s definitely a people dog. When he saw a familiar face the next day, he was so excited he tried to jump the fence just to say hello!Braden is looking for a home where he can feel safe, loved, and continue to build confidence. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
