My story

Jagger is a black and tan male Pekingese/Chihuahua mix with a swagger that can’t be taught and a personality that demands the spotlight. Named after the legendary Mick Jagger, he’s got moves, charm, and just the right amount of rebellion. Jagger struts around with confidence far beyond his pint-sized frame, always ready to steal the show—whether he’s leading the puppy parade or striking a pose on the couch like it’s his stage. With his bold markings and even bolder attitude, Jagger has all the flair of a true rock `n` roll frontman.But behind the showmanship is a sweet and loyal pup who loves attention as much as he loves cuddles. Jagger’s expressive face and energetic spirit make him impossible to ignore, but it`s his loving nature that keeps people coming back for more. He’s always up for a game, a snuggle, or a grand entrance, and he brings fun and personality to every room he walks into. Just like his namesake, Jagger has that unmistakable spark—cool, playful, and born to stand out.ADOPTION PACKAGEThank you for your interest in adopting your next pet from The Haven. Each dog adoption fee of $175 includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine and tag (age 3 months and up), microchip, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, a free starter bag of Hills Science Diet, and coupons from area businesses.Please make sure you review the following as part of the adoption process:· Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.· A current government-issued photo ID (no student IDs) - such as a driver`s license, state ID, passport, military ID, etc.· Have a Meet and Greet with the animal and our adoption coordinator (These can be a virtual Meet and Greet session due to COVID-19)· Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier with them when picking up their new pet.· The Haven accepts cash, check, debit/credit cards, or money orders.* For adopters of cats and dogs aged 6 months or less, or those with a medical condition preventing immediate spaying or neutering, The Haven requires a signed Spay/Neuter (S/N) Agreement and a $100 cash deposit, refundable upon completion of the spay/neuter procedure.
