My story

Meet Margarine, an absolutely sweet-tempered girl who’s 11 months old and ready for her first real taste of a happy life! Like the food she’s named after, Margarine is truly made to bring joy to every home. Rescued from a severe neglect case where she and 12 other “Baker’s Dozen” Mutts were confined to a tiny 3×8 outdoor kennel, Margarine has never had the chance to truly enjoy being a playful pup. She’s learning every day what it means to run, explore, and simply be a dog. Margarine has done well overall with other dogs, showing her gentle nature. However, because of her past, she’s still learning that she is safe and it’s okay to share her newfound treasures. This adorable girl absolutely loves to carry toys around, a small but significant sign of her blossoming confidence. Margarine deserves a home where she can finally be spoiled rotten with love, patience, and all the soft landings she missed out on.
