🐾 Meet Hamlet (“Hammie”) – Your Playful, Loving Companion! BASICS Housetrained: Yes Litterbox trained: Yes Good with dogs: Yes – currently enjoys playing with a goldendoodle Good with cats: Yes – has a bonded cat friend, Tuna Good with kids: Yes – affectionate and tolerant nature Training Hammie is not leash trained and has not had formal training with commands, but he is well-mannered in the home. He has allowed nail trims with little to no resistance, which speaks to his trusting personality. While crate training hasn't been tested, Hammie is comfortable sleeping through the night in a calm environment and uses his litterbox reliably. Personal History Hamlet arrived into our care under unknown circumstances, but he has quickly adapted to his foster home and shown himself to be a sweet, social, and well-adjusted cat. 🐱 Personality & Behavior Affection Level: Hammie is a cuddler at heart. He adores curling up on the hammock with his cat buddy Tuna and often seeks out chin scratches and pets. He’ll happily expose his tummy as a sign of trust. Play Behavior: Super playful! Hammie loves to chase toys, bat around anything that moves, and especially enjoys engaging with Arlo the goldendoodle’s wagging tail. Activity Level: High – Hammie is an active cat who loves play sessions but balances it with good nap times cuddled up with his bestie Tuna. Best Adjectives: Playful, loving, social, confident, curious Examples: Hammie will flop onto his back for belly rubs, purr deeply during chin scratches, and confidently approach new friends (even dogs!). His playfulness shows in how he pounces on toys or “hunts” Arlo’s tail. Best Qualities: His affectionate nature and ability to bond with other animals. He adapts quickly and thrives on companionship. Favorite Behaviors: His little “show-off” belly flops, gentle purring during petting, and the way he grooms or naps with Tuna are heart-meltingly cute. Favorite Physical Traits: Gorgeous gray coat with unique greenish-gray eyes that shimmer in the light. Ideal Home: A home with other friendly pets (cats or dogs) would be a great fit. He thrives in a playful environment where he gets attention, affection, and interactive play. Families with children would also do well with Hammie. Why He Stands Out: Hammie’s easygoing nature with dogs, his bonded relationship with Tuna, and his cuddly, yet energetic personality make him a rare gem of a cat. He’s as loving as he is lively.
