*** Honeycutt & Hawkeye are in a foster home. ***Honeycutt #19027: orange tabby, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 7/2/23 Hawkeye #19028: orange tabby, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 7/2/23Cats: **BONDED PAIR**, love others!Dogs: GREAT!Children: calm late elementary+ BACKGROUND: Honeycutt and Hawkeye were found fending for themselves by an independent rescuer who works to get cats spayed and neutered. When they showed potential to be comfortable living with people, she asked if we could help them find a loving home.PERSONALITY: Orange is awesome! These boys are so adorable as they snuggle and play together. Tall cat trees are a must, with at least one perch big enough to hold them both. From this vantage, they can snuggle AND people-watch!---Honeycutt is a sweet yet reserved fellow who needs a lengthy amount of time to adjust to new circumstances and people. He connects most easily with other cats and dogs, though with patience and encouragement you’ll see the small signs that indicate he’s comfortable around you, his well-known human, and then petting can happen. While he may never be a confident kitty, he is a happy one, and will chase his toys and his friends around for playtime.---Hawkeye is your go-to-guy for cuddles. This affectionate kitty will snuggle up right beside you on the couch and purr his way into your heart; he can give love nibbles when you’re petting him because he’s so happy. He loves to play with laser pointers and string toys. He has the bravery to lead the way and encourage Honeycutt to come along.---Honeycutt depends on his brother to trust the world around him. They MUST be adopted together.COMPATIBILITY: The boys are very friendly with other cats and are wonderful with cat-friendly dogs. Honeycutt in particular likes to nuzzle up with the dog in his foster home. They have not met children; we think a quieter home with respectful kids nearing their tweens would be best. Are you ready to add some orange to your heart and home?
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Honeycutt, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
