My story

Well hello there, my name is Starfire! I'm a two year old, 44 lb professional cuddler with the best smile you've ever seen! I absolutely adore meeting new people because, let's be real, that just means more opportunities for belly rubs and booty scratches. I'm also a big fan of kids (their little hands give nice head and ear scratches). I get along great with other dogs, big or small. My foster siblings are 6 lbs and 70 lbs, and we're all good! I've met the resident cats and, so far, my only reaction has been a happy tail wag. Further testing will be done…just ask me how it’s going if you have a cat. I'm a smart cookie and already know SIT, DOWN, SHAKE, LEAVE IT, and COME. I’ve been doing great with potty and crate training. I have not had one accident yet but my foster family takes me out to potty frequently. That really helped me understand the routine super fast. My favorite things in life are a good game of fetch, playing with all my toys, cuddling with you, and taking naps. Car rides? Love 'em! I hop right in and enjoy the scenery or take another snooze. I walk pretty well on a leash too. I am a little eager to lead but I think that is because everything is new and smells so good. I'm a slow, polite eater who takes treats gently. I'm also a champ when it comes to bath time and nail trims. I'm spayed and up to date on all my shots, so I'm all ready to find my forever home! Could it be with you?
