Elizabeth (nka Ava)

My story

Elizabeth was adopted from CPR as a puppy in 2019 but circumstances found her at a shelter in Virginia last spring. She's been back with us for over a year now and is so ready for her forever home. Elizabeth is house trained and crate trained (she will bark at first but soon settles down).Her hobbies are looking out the windows for ne'er do wells (mail carriers, squirrels, delivery trucks),lounging on the sofa, belly rubs, snacks, walks and car rides. She loves to chase squirrels up a tree and can jump about 6 feet up the trunk. A high fenced in yard would be best for her. She also would appreciate a doggy door because she loves to go outside, and come back in, and then quickly go back out because SQUIRREL! Elizabeth gets along great with the dogs in her foster home. She has even learned to coexist with the cats. She is independent, not really interested in toys, but definitely enjoys snuggling in the evenings (when it's too dark for squirrels) She would love to sleep in the bed with you, as long as you're an early riser. No sleeping in for this girl. Daylight means SQUIRRELS!
