My story

Nickname: Quarter Medical: Up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and scheduled to be neutered Quarry is a lovable, 56-pound Lab mix with a heart as big as his goofy grin — and yes, that smile is 100% friendly! This sweet, affectionate guy is convinced he's a lap dog and gives the kind of full-body hugs and slobbery kisses that will melt your heart (though we do remind him not everyone wants a bear hug from a big dog every five minutes). Quarry was heartbreakingly surrendered when his owner could no longer care for him, but it’s clear he came from a loving home — he’s well-socialized, adores people, and gets along great with other dogs. He’s still a big puppy at heart and doesn’t quite realize how big he is, which just makes him even more endearing. Quarry loves walks, toys, and playtime, but his happiest moments are spent simply being close to his humans. He’s good with kids, too, and would thrive in a family that will welcome his affectionate, happy-go-lucky nature. He’s already won over everyone at the shelter — now he’s just waiting to win over you.
