MOANA

My story

This gorgeous lady with the brindle coat is Moana! She arrived at the shelter as a lost dog with ID on 7/14, and sadly, her family didn't come to reclaim her. Moana is now hoping for a new, forever home where she will be loved and properly cared for during her golden years. Moana is a little unsure of the loud, overwhelming shelter environment and she didn't feel like looking at the camera during her photoshoot. The volunteers describe her as friendly and inquisitive. She does sit nicely when asked. Moana has had puppies in the past, but soon she'll be taking the "no more puppies" pledge. If you're looking for a mature dog without the puppy/young dog antics, please come meet Moana! Moana is approximately 8 years old and weighs 64 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, has been microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed upon adoption. Moana is waiting in run 878; her ID # is 11911. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
