My story

Poppy is an 8-month old bundle of sweetness who's ready to find her forever family. This little survivor was sadly dumped, but she hasn't let her rough start dim her gentle spirit. At first, she can be a little shy, but once she feels safe, her loving personality shines through. Poppy loves chasing tennis balls, making new friends at the dog park, and taking walks. She is trained on the gentle leader. She's also cat-friendly, making her a wonderful fit for a variety of homes. She's already crate trained, sleeps through the night, and is potty trained - such a smart girl who is eager to learn (she is very food motivated). She even rings the bells at the door to be let out! Poppy also rides quietly in the car making her an easy-going travel buddy. If you are looking for a sweet companion who has overcome a tough beginning and is ready to blossom with love and patience, then Poppy is your girl. She can't wait to share her cuddles, tail wags, and playful spirit with her forever family!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed.
