My story

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! From the foster: Jade has been in our foster home for over a month, watching week after week as the other dogs find their forever families. She’s wondering… when will it be my turn? When Jade first arrived, she was so shy that we felt lucky just to give her a gentle pet or catch a glimpse of those stunning icy blue eyes. But day by day, she’s learned that the world (and loving humans) don’t have to be so scary. With the help of her two foster brothers, Jade has blossomed. She now happily requests belly rubs by nudging her face into you or gently pawing at your hand (we’re working on this). She’s almost fully potty trained (though prefers company while doing her 'business'), walks well on a leash, sleeps through the night, and is a quick learner. Jade is still a bit wary of new objects, things like paper bags or cardboard boxes can give her anxiety but she’s steadily building confidence. She loves adventures, though she does get a little carsick, so a light meal or a waterproof blanket before a trip is a good idea. She takes cues from her foster brothers when playtime is over, and she’s wonderful with kids and babies, even if she sometimes barks at them on TV. Jade would thrive in a home with another dog to show her the ropes, but she will also bond deeply with her human.
