My story

🐶 **Vera: Silent, Sweet, and a Treat Connoisseur** 🐶 Vera is a gorgeous girl with a gentle spirit. She's currently majoring in Advanced Hiding with a minor in Sneaky Couch Sitting. She’s the strong, silent type—hasn’t made a peep, even when her foster brother is throwing a full-blown barking tantrum. She’s fully housebroken (gold star!), crate-trained (her crate is her castle), and so low-maintenance she practically comes with her own “easy button.” Getting her out the door is a bit of a dance: leash her up, avoid eye contact like you're passing your ex in the grocery store, open the door, and *whoosh*—she’s outside. Then right back in again like a fuzzy little boomerang. She’s recently started wagging her tail (huge win), joins her people on the couch sometimes (until they move, then it’s “retreat to the bunker!”), and lives for snack bones. Toys? Meh. Other dogs? She needs a home with another dog. Humans? Maybe not so bad? Vera is one of those quiet, hidden gems who will blossom with time, patience, and treats.
