My story
Meet Velvet! She`s a gorgeous 3YO - you can tell by her figure she`s not used to missing meals. If that wasn`t evidence enough she must have had a home at some point the fact that she came in already spayed will be! Unfortunately an owner has yet to contact us or reclaim her. Unfortunately, Velvet came to us with an injured back right leg. She won`t put weight on it, but she gets around great using her other three legs. X-Rays showed she has a fractured tibia and fibula. Luckily it`s a clean break, and our on staff veterinarian is expecting it to heal well with splinting, crate rest, and time. The shelter is hardly the coziest place to heal from an injury like this. Velvet is looking for a rescue or medical foster to help her recoop in comfort and peace. Please let us know if you can help her!
