Senior | Female | Cane Corso | 120 lbsDaisy was found abandoned and locked inside an enclosed sports field. She was likely left there by someone who didn’t see her worth. But Daisy is still full of trust, calm energy, and a deep desire to connect with people. She is a return shelter dog who continues to show grace, resilience, and affection despite being let down.When you approach her, Daisy greets you with quiet confidence and a gentle nudge for attention. She leashes up easily, handles beautifully, and shows an eagerness to please. She knows basic commands like sit, down, and come. She enjoys fetch and tug of war, and takes treats with a soft, respectful mouth. She presents as likely potty-trained and showed no resource guarding. She allows full handling including face, paws, and body. Daisy is a strong girl who may at times, pull on leash but settles quickly and responds well to direction.She’s a big leaner and LOVES affection. She checks in frequently with her handler, seeks connection, and is happy to meet new people.Daisy needs a home with prior experience handling large guardian breeds. She is not a dog for a first-time owner. While she is affectionate and responsive, she is also powerful and intelligent. She will do best in a calm, structured environment with someone who understands the Cane Corso mindset and is comfortable setting clear boundaries.She would do best in a home without small children due to her size and strength. A yard to stretch her legs would be ideal!Daisy is not just looking for a home. She is looking for someone who understands her.
