Looking for a loyal companion with the wisdom of age and the heart of a puppy? Meet Doris, a 6–8-year-old mini German Shepherd (just 40–50 lbs!) who’s packed full of love and charm in a petite package. Doris has all the classic Shepherd looks, just fun-sized! She’s calm, gentle, and absolutely adores attention. Brushing time? It’s her favorite spa treatment. She’s kennel trained, has a lovely temperament, and is happiest when she’s near her people. She dreams of quiet evening strolls, a cozy bed to snuggle into, and—let’s be honest—a generous supply of treats. Doris is the kind of dog who will look at you like you hung the moon, and she deserves someone who will love her just as much in return. If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait** ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt?
