My story

Meet Mcentire 🐾✨Mcentire is a 1-year-old Pitbull Terrier mix who was found as a stray and never reclaimed. While we don’t know much about her past — like whether she does well with other dogs, cats, or kids — we do know that she’s ready to start a brighter future. We also aren’t sure if she is house or crate trained yet.What we do know is that the moment she stepped out of her kennel, her eyes lit up with pure joy. She LOVES to play tug-of-war, and running is one of her favorite things. Mcentire would be happiest in a home with a big backyard where she can stretch her legs and play to her heart’s content.Mcentire is HEART WORM NEGATIVE, UP TO DATE on vaccinations, and weighs 50 pounds. This happy, playful girl is just waiting for the right family to give her the space, love, and attention she deserves. ❤️Mcentire's Adoption fee is $115.50 plus taxDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
