Meet Gwynn! A sensitive seven-year-old Chihuahua/Poodle mix currently living in Carlsbad, CA, whose essence is a quiet grace wrapped in a chocolate-brown coat with soft white accents. Small in size but big on personality, Gwynn carries a cat-like elegance that makes her presence both calming and curious. She’s a low-energy companion who finds her joy in sun-soaked lounging spots, slow-paced strolls, and sneakily removing every last crumb from your kitchen floor. Gwynn is not one to demand constant attention—but when she trusts you, her gentle cuddles will melt your heart like warm cocoa! At 16 pounds, Gwynn is perfectly compact for cozy living and fully house-trained. She knows her basic commands—sit, lay down, shake, and go to bed—and excels at independent relaxation. She handles short periods alone just fine and will likely be snoozing in her favorite bed when you return. While she enjoys affection on her terms, she also appreciates calm consistency and gentle respect for her space. This darling pup is looking for a new loving home that understands her unique quirks. She experiences anxiety around young children, high-energy dogs, and overwhelming environments like vet offices and grooming salons. Though she’s had a caring groomer and consistent veterinary care, she is sensitive about her tail and paws and benefits from a gentle, patient touch. She’s also a bit of a resource guarder—especially with high-value treats and toys—so an experienced, understanding pet parent would be a perfect fit. Gwynn would thrive in a peaceful household with adults or older children (ages 10+), and she prefers to be the only pet—though she can coexist with calm, indifferent dogs. Cats, however, are a definite no-go for her! Her heart is quirky and tender, shaped by early challenges and nurtured by years of love.
