ALL ABOUT ME  Name: Remy Age: 10 months old Gender: Male Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Mini Jindo / Golden Retriever mix  Colour: Beige Weight: 11kg / 24lbs Microchipped: Yes   MY RESCUE STORY Hi there! My name is Remy. I was rescued from a crowded city pound just in time, and now I’m on a new journey—looking for a forever family to call my own. I may have had a rough start, but I haven’t let that dull my gentle heart or hopeful spirit. I’m ready to bring love, loyalty, and lots of tail wags into someone’s life.   MY HEALTH Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete)  I’ve been spayed and have no known health issues.   MY PERSONALITY When you meet me, you’ll notice my soft beige fur and warm, dark brown eyes that melt your heart. I’m a friendly little pup who looks like a mini golden retriever mixed with a bit of Jindo — the perfect combo of cute and charming! I absolutely love people and dogs, and I’m ready to share all my sweetness with my forever family.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I’m a social butterfly who loves making new friends! I’ll happily run up to you asking for pets and affection, and I gladly show my belly as a sweet sign of trust. You can pick me up too—I’m pretty easygoing like that. While I haven’t spent much time with young kids yet, my friendly nature means I’ll likely do great with gentle, slow introductions. And don’t worry—I don’t guard my food around people! With Dogs:  I’m a social butterfly with dogs too! I love making new furry friends and having lots of playtime. I usually prefer dogs my size or bigger. Being a pup, I have lots of energy and sometimes get a bit pushy during play, which not all dogs like. I’m working on learning better manners and how to approach others more calmly. When it comes to mealtime, it’s best to feed me separately and keep an eye on me, as I can be protective of my food and space while eating. If another dog comes too close, I might growl to say, “Please give me some space.” I’m also curious and like to check out what other dogs are eating—and sometimes I might try to peek into their bowls! With Cats:  I haven’t met any cats yet, but with a slow and thoughtful introduction, I think I could learn to live peacefully with a feline friend.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I’m full of energy and love to run, play, and explore! Getting plenty of active playtime helps me burn off that puppy excitement so I can settle down calmly indoors and be a happy, relaxed companion.     TRAINING & HABITS  I’m a quick learner who loves to follow my handler’s lead—I always want to make you proud! I’m calm and well-behaved, and I know how to rest quietly and comfortably in my kennel.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a safe, structured, and calm environment. A family that enjoys spending quality time together indoors & outdoors. A family that can shower me with unconditional love. Understanding that I’m still a young pup who’s learning the ropes. I’ll need gentle guidance and training to build good social manners and master basic obedience. Understanding of my love for food and willing to train me with positive reinforcement training to help me learn patience and good manners around other dogs.    SPECIAL NOTES  If you’re looking for a mini golden retriever, I’m your boy! I promise you’ll fall in love with me the moment we meet. Volunteers and staff often compliment how soft my fur is—it really reminds them of a golden retriever—and say my personality matches too.
