My story

Cleo and Simba are very, very loved but their family have to move back to their home country unexpectedly and quickly.  Cleo, female, is solid blue/grey and Simba, male, is white and blue/grey. Cleo is 15 months old this month (July) and Simba is 10 months old, they are both 10.5 pounds. They walk on leash and back packs. Cleo is more quiet and likes to do her own thing, she’s very delicate and affectionate on her own terms, but Simba is super affectionate loves being held, loves snuggles and purrs- the purrfect combo! Simba can be vocal when he wants to play or food. Cleo will chirp at you in the sweetest way when she wants to play. Cleo is the more quirky one and you have to understand her a bit more as she doesn’t like being forced to do anything, you have to take your time with her, Simba is more happy go lucky.  Cleo is more reserved and shy but Simba helps bring her out of her shell so they are a nice match for each other. Simba is very attached to Cleo and cries if she leaves the room! We would like to adopt them together as they sleep, groom and play together and it took a while for Cleo to take to him! Simba is more active with climbing his cat tree and playing toys. Cleo loves a wand and jumps really high!  Simba was raised with cat friendly older dogs and would be fine with kids. We're not sure how Cleo would react with either, but likely would be fine with an older dog that ignores her and older, respectful kids- she doesn’t like being held, but will sleep under a blanket with you. She would be fine with cats with a slow introduction. Cleo won’t eat wet food! Unless it’s liquidy and you hand feed her. Simba is food obsessed!  They will come with their cat trees, automatic feeders (Simba would steal Cleo’s food otherwise) water fountains etc. Cleo and Simba are currently in Boulder, CO and available to meet you! ##2468771##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cleo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
