My story

Cookie came to us from the Pasadena shelter and it's very obvious that she was only used for breeding. She appears to have had many liters, had poor eye care, poor skin, and is clearly starved for attention. Now that she is safe with rescue, her skin and eyes are healing and she will be spayed soon. She is learning that her life is not about being a puppy factory by taking walks each day, learning to go potty outside, and simple things like what toys are. She has been tested with other dogs and she would prefer to be the only dog. She also should not live in a home with cats. Her history with children is unknown.
