My story

Emily Carr A17657431 lb. spayed female, approx 8 months old -Total puppy alert!-Be ready for fun and laughter!-She’s a bit of a cyclone and needs practice on leash still. She spins, jumps, and bounces all over the place. She’s just so excited to be going outside and to be with her people!-She’s super food motivated, sits patiently and takes them nicely-She chased a few balls outside but only occasionally picked them up to engage in play-She will also settle to curl up for snuggles! She was content to lay in my lap for pets and get belly rubs.-She’s affectionate and gives kisses-She is a very good mix of playful and cuddly-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
