My story

Meet Jethro! Jethro is a 4-month-old silver-gray tabby with striking coloring and a playful personality to match. He came to HART at just 2 weeks old, along with his brother, sister, and their mama Gracie, after being found under a porch. Since then, Jethro has grown into a fun-loving, energetic kitten who gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and other kittens. Jethro is full of life and would almost always rather be playing—but once he’s had his fill of fun, he’s happy to curl up beside you for a cozy nap. He adjusts quickly to new environments and has the potential to be a great lap companion when the moment’s right. Named after the son on The Beverly Hillbillies, Jethro has a curious, lively charm that makes him impossible not to love. His favorite food is Purina One kitten kibble, and he’d be thrilled to find a home where he gets plenty of playtime and affection. He’d love to be adopted with his brother Jedidiah if you’re looking to bring home a dynamic duo! HART recommends kittens 6 months of age and younger be adopted in pairs. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.
