My story

I Was Days Away From Dying… and Now I’m Begging for a Chance to Live.On July 21, 2025, I was found wandering the streets of West Memphis, AR, searching for anything I could eat in the ruins of an abandoned apartment complex. My body told the truth — nothing but skin and bones, my ribs, skull, and hips sticking out like a skeleton still breathing. I was starving, weak, and losing the fight for my life.When the animal control officer reached for me, I couldn’t even wag my tail. I just collapsed into their arms, too exhausted to lift my head, too drained to lick their hand in gratitude. Every ounce of strength I had was gone.I may look like a puppy, but I’ve lived through years of hunger, neglect, and loneliness. I’ve survived the worst days of my life… and now, I’m praying for the best ones to finally come.Please — I don’t want to be just another sad story. I want to be the dog in your family photos, the one waiting by the door, the one who knows what it means to be loved. My time nearly ran out once. Don’t let it happen again.
