What my friends at OHS say about me:I have been working with the Behavior and Training team here at OHS for consistency and am looking for a special home. It will take time and patience to get to know me. You'll need to meet with me multiple times before taking me home.To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.New things are a little scary to me, but I all I need is time and someone to show me it's okay.Once I bond with you, I will follow you everywhere! Do you enjoy calm, quiet hiking trails too?I can be very active & playful and will need positive outlets for my energy.I am a full time love-bug and part time cuddle-bug.I had so much fun meeting another dog here in the shelter. My friends at OHS think I would be great at making new dog friends!The type of home I'm looking for:I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.I may do best in a home where there is another dog to help boost my confidence.I am not for the first time dog owner. Someone very familiar with canine body language is a must for me.I really enjoy living with other dogs in my foster home!I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.Loud noises and unpredictable movements can make me uncomfortable, I would do best in a home with calm, older children.It could be with you!
