My story

Hello, I'm Lenore! I'm a sweet senior cat looking for a cozy and quiet place to call home. I found myself at CMHS after my human passed away, and I have been quite lonely. I know I'm not what everyone would call pretty anymore due to the issues around my mouth, but I have the most beautiful soul! I would appreciate a warm lap to curl up in, a sunny window to watch birds from, and a plush bed for napping in. My foster says "Lenore - affectionally known as Lennie - is the SWEETEST lady you could ever meet. She is the perfect mixture of chill, fluffy, and little wonky looking. This lovely girl is looking for a bff! She is definitely a soul mate cat, especially for someone who loves a chill, affectionate gal. She loves sitting next to her friends and getting head and butt scratches. She works very hard for her rent by making biscuits all day. She is well known as well for happy purring whenever anyone will give her a scratch. She is the best bestie one could ask for! She is the cutest girl ever. She is very funny to watch explore. She loves to check out where you are and what you’re up to but she does so very politely. She is pretty quiet and must read Miss Manners as she is very well behaved. She likes to play with her toys and to spy on the neighbors. She listens very well and has used her litter box amazingly since I’ve had her. I have a very quiet household so I am unsure of how she would be with other pets/kids. As an older lady, she may appreciate a home that’s more chill."
