My story

Hello, my name is: OrionApprox. DOB: 1/20/2023Sex/Breed: Neutered male Australian ShepherdWeight: 54 lbs, but he’s overweightRescued from: Owner surrenderOrion has never known a stable home. He’s been bounced around from person to person at no fault of his own. Whether lifestyles changed or they didn’t research his breed before deciding to bring him home, he has been failed time and time again. Despite this, Orion is very sweet. He so desperately wants a family who will give him the chance to relax and settle into a routine. Once he realizes he is home for good, we have no doubt he will really shine and start showing his full self. Orion has some weight to lose and would benefit from an active family that is committed to helping him get healthy. Someone who has experience with herding dogs would be best, so his mental activity needs are met. He would love a fenced in backyard to romp in as he is still getting used to being on a leash. He is dog-friendly and gets along with dog-savvy cats. Orion is a total sweetheart and is so deserving of a devoted family to call his own! All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting?
