My story

Prince is a gentle, affectionate dog living with Addison’s disease—a condition that affects his adrenal glands and requires lifelong treatment. Despite this diagnosis, Prince is doing wonderfully and is ready to find a forever home that can provide him with consistent care and lots of love. What does his care involve? Addison’s disease is manageable with routine treatment and monitoring: Monthly injection of Percorten-V or Zycortal ($70–$120/month) Daily oral steroid (Prednisone, typically $10–$20/month) Periodic bloodwork and vet visits (usually 2–3 times per year) to ensure his levels stay balanced With this care, Prince can live a full, active life just like any other dog. He’ll thrive best with an adopter who understands his needs and is committed to his ongoing wellness. Prince currently weighs about 15lbs., is approximately 5 years old (est. birth date 03/18/2020), and his adoption fee is $510. Prince has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
